| MESSAGE FROM DR. M. Y. CHAN | Welcome to the BBI 3421 (Distance Learning) Writing Forum.
This forum is created to provide a platform for students registered for the Expository Writing course in Universiti Putra Malaysia to develop their writing skills. The aim of the forum project is to enable students to experience writing not as a set of technical rules and formulaic expressions, but as practice that is part of social interaction. By fostering an online community of emerging writers, we hope to encourage students to appreciate the importance of discussion, peer feedback, audience awareness and reflective thought in the writing process.
